Turkish natural stone, direct from the quarry
Turkey sits on one of the richest dimension-stone belts in the world and exports marble, travertine, limestone, basalt and onyx to more than a hundred countries. What makes the origin worth specifying is regional consistency: Afyon and Muğla for whites, Burdur and Bilecik for beiges, Denizli and Uşak for travertine, Elazığ for the deep cherry reds, and the volcanic east for basalt. Knowing the basin tells you how the material will behave across an entire container, not just in one sample tile.
We source against your specification directly from quarry owners and processing plants — colour, cut, finish, thickness and edge are ordered, not picked from a trader's leftover stock. Every product page on this site links back to a real production line we can put material through today.
The main stone families
| Stone | Character | Typical export use |
|---|---|---|
| Marble | Compact, takes a high polish | Interior floors, vanities, feature walls |
| Travertine | Porous, warm tones, cooler underfoot | Pool decks, terraces, facades |
| Limestone | Even grain, honed matt look | Paving, cladding, mass masonry |
| Basalt | Dense volcanic grey-black | Urban paving, kerbs, contemporary facades |
| Onyx | Translucent, dramatic banding | Backlit panels, reception counters |
How wholesale ordering works
Natural stone is quoted per square metre for finished formats and per cubic metre or tonne for blocks. Published prices are indicative only — grade, thickness, finish, calibration and volume all move the number, so the useful comparison is a quote against your exact specification.
From enquiry to delivery
- Specify — stone type, sizes, finish, thickness and target volume, or describe the application and we recommend a grade.
- Sample — physical samples go out by courier so you approve the real colour range before committing.
- Quote — FOB, CIF or DAP against current quarry rates, with payment terms agreed up front.
- Inspect — batches are checked for calibration and colour match before crating on fumigated pallets.
- Ship — invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, fumigation certificate and bill of lading prepared for clearance at your port.
A 20ft container carries 24–28 tonnes depending on format. Tell us the material and the market and we will confirm quantities, lead time and the paperwork your customs requires.
