Thin stone veneer and ledger panels
Stone veneer gives you the wall without the weight. Turkish plants cut natural marble, travertine, limestone and quartzite into Z-shaped ledger panels (typically 15×60 cm) and flat veneer strips at 1–2.5 cm thickness, running 30–55 kg/m² instead of the 100+ kg/m² of full-bed masonry. That difference is what lets a feature wall go onto a stud partition, a fireplace chase or an upper floor without structural work.
The Z-profile interlocks course over course, hiding horizontal joints and producing the dry-stack look with ordinary tile adhesive. Matching corner units are produced with staggered returns — order them by the linear metre alongside the field panels, always from the same lot.
Indoors, any of the stones work. Outdoors, ask for the freeze–thaw and absorption figures of the specific stone: quartzites and dense limestones handle exposed exterior walls; softer travertines belong under cover or in mild climates.
Coverage, packing and ordering
Ledger panels ship in cartons of roughly 0.5 m², palletised to about 40–50 m² per pallet; a 20ft container carries around 550–650 m² depending on stone and profile depth. Waste factor is low — 5% covers cutting on straight walls, 8–10% with many corners and openings.
Send wall areas, corner lengths and whether the application is interior or exterior. We will confirm the right stone, quote per square metre with corners itemised, and ship a sample carton so you can approve colour range and relief before the production run.
