The controller of personal data processed via orderfromturkey.tr is Report Global Trading Ltd., İsmetpaşa Mah. Setboyu Cad. No:97/6, Merkez, Çanakkale, Türkiye — e-mail oft@reportdisticaret.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).

2. Data We Collect

  • Inquiry & quote data — name, company, e-mail, phone/WhatsApp, country and message content from the contact, quote (RFQ), sample and stock-alert forms.
  • Order data — billing and delivery details, order history, payment status. Card payments are processed by iyzico; card numbers never touch our servers.
  • Account data — login e-mail, password (stored as a hash), saved details and favourites.
  • Newsletter data — e-mail address, language and subscription source.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type, pages visited, referrer/UTM attribution and server logs kept for security.

3. Purposes & Legal Bases

  • Answering inquiries and preparing quotes — steps prior to a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b); KVKK Art. 5/2-c).
  • Processing and shipping orders, invoicing, export documentation — performance of a contract and compliance with legal obligations (tax, customs and export law).
  • Newsletter and similar marketing — your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)); you can withdraw it at any time via the unsubscribe link in every e-mail.
  • Site security, fraud prevention, service improvement and aggregated analytics — our legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

4. Cookies & Analytics

We use strictly necessary cookies and browser storage for core functions (cart, language, login session) and Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate site usage. Where consent is required, analytics runs only after you accept; you can also block or delete cookies in your browser at any time without losing core functionality.

5. Who Receives Your Data

  • Shipping and logistics companies — to deliver your order;
  • Payment providers — banks and iyzico for card payments;
  • The manufacturer fulfilling your order — name and delivery data as needed;
  • IT, hosting and e-mail service providers under data-processing agreements;
  • Public authorities where legally required (customs, tax).

We never sell personal data.

6. International Transfers

We are located in Türkiye and serve buyers worldwide. Data is transferred between Türkiye, the EU/EEA and your country where necessary to perform the contract (GDPR Art. 49(1)(b)-(c)) or with appropriate safeguards. Analytics data may be processed by Google in the USA.

7. Retention

Commercial and tax law require us to keep order and invoice records (in Türkiye generally up to 10 years). Inquiry data is kept up to 3 years after the last contact, newsletter data until you unsubscribe, and security logs typically no longer than 6 months.

8. Your Rights

Under GDPR (Arts. 15–21) and KVKK (Art. 11) you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to oft@reportdisticaret.com — we respond within the statutory period (30 days). You may also lodge a complaint with your local EU supervisory authority or the Turkish Data Protection Authority (KVKK Kurumu).

9. Security

We use TLS encryption across the site, hashed passwords, access controls and rate limiting. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we apply recognised industry practices and review them regularly.

10. Children

The Site is a B2B service and is not directed at children under 16; we do not knowingly collect their data.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the current version is always available on this page with its date above.
